Howard A. Reisman, M.D.
Dr. Reisman is a native Atlantan. He attended elementary and high school in the Buckhead area. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisana in 1974 and the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia in 1978. He completed his OB-GYN residency at Atlanta Medical Center from 1978-1982, and served as Chief Resident in 1982. He practiced both Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1982-1987 in a group practice setting, and then started Atlanta North Gynecology, PC in 1987 to dedicate his practice to Gynecology only. His special areas of interest are the treatment of endometriosis, the treatment of menopause and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, contraception, and clinical research. Dr. Reisman and his Clinical Study Co-ordinator, Randi Baill, RN, have been conducting Clinical Research Trials for the Pharmaceutical Industry since 1992. This facet of his practice allows his patients to have access to Investigative New Drugs through FDA approved clinical trials, that are not available to the general medical population.
Dr. Reisman has deep Atlanta roots, he has been married to his wife Linda, also a native, since 1975 and has 3 children and two grandchildren, and a large extended family in the Atlanta area. Both of his parents, his 3 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins reside in the Atlanta area.
Dr. Reisman's newest hobby is spending time with his grandchildren.
Randi Jaffe, R.N.
Randi (Baill) Jaffe, R.N. joined Dr. Reisman as his Head Nurse in 1987 after working as an assistant Head RN at Northside Hospital, Atlanta on the Urology, post-operative ENT, Plastics, Extended Recovery Unit.
Ms. Baill's passion for Women's Health stemmed back from the late 1970's where she was a medical assistant for on OB/GYN in South Florida. After graduating from Valencia Community College, School of Nursing, she relocated to Georgia to be near her family.
Randi and Dr. Reisman established Atlanta North Gynecology, Center for Research, in 1992 and now have worked on over 100 protocols for Women's Health related issues. Patients enjoy the personal service and being on the "cutting" edge of new products for the industry. Randi is proud to be the mother of Marc and Ryan and glows from their accomplishments.
